Our Company

Incorporated in 1991 by company President Peter Toombs, Diversified Metal Engineering Ltd.’s roots began in the custom design and fabrication of equipment for Brewing, BioTech, BioEnergy Industrial Food & Beverage, Water Treatment, Decor and Marine Applications. Corporate headquarters are located in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island where the company typically employs between 40 and 60 full time staff.

The manufacturing facility consists of 30,000 square feet of production area, with the latest technology applied throughout engineering, operations and fabrications. Integrated process systems are designed, fabricated, pre-piped, wired and tested on-site.

The capabilities and experience of the company’s engineers and fabricators have allowed DME to meet each customer’s specific system needs while the production facility can handle systems from small single vessels to multiple component process systems. These capabilities and experience have allowed the company to grow into an international business with over 300 equipment installations around the world. Since its incorporation DME has exceeded $100M in sales.
