toombsp@dme.pe.ca: Peter is responsible for overseeing both the Corporate and Technical / Manufacturing areas of DME. Peter has over 17 years experience in the design and construction of equipment for the Brewery, Biotech, Bioenergy, Industrial and Marine industries.

Peter has lead virtually every development project at DME. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and this with his extensive project management experience serves him well in the role of a senior project manager. Under Peter’s guidance, Diversified Metal Engineering has flourished as an industry leader serving an international market with a variety of products.

Blair MacKinnon

mackinnonb@dme.pe.ca: Blair has over 22 Years of experience in the operation and management of manufacturing facilities. Blair is responsible for production efficiency, quality, cost of production and delivery performance for DME while maintaining a safe, secure and clean working environment. Blair also works closely with project engineers to develop new manufacturing technologies and improve the existing technologies. Blair joined DME and its team of seasoned engineers and fabricators to continue to provide world class products to the beverage, industrial and environmental industries.

campbelld@dme.pe.ca: David Campbell is the newest member of the DME team and brings with him nearly 20 years of professional sales and marketing and project management in the pharmaceutical industry. David's proven ability to solve problems while enhancing business opportunities allows him to exceed his customers expectations time after time.

David is available to meet with customers to discuss their projects and looks forward to working with each client to ensure a successful outcome from first planning, through execution and delivery.

She has many years of customer service, sales and marketing experience. Nancy provides customer service and support to all of our valued customers and potential customers.

Engineering

Denton Moffat, P. Eng
Project Manager

moffattd@dme.pe.ca: Denton joined DME in 1996 and currently brings over a decade of engineering, design and project management experience to the DME team. His previous background was as a Consultant Engineer of municipal utilities and high pressure/high temperature district heating designs. As a registered Professional Engineer, Denton is the Senior Engineer on all pressure vessel design projects and was instrumental in ensuring that DME attained their National Board Certificate of Authorization. As Quality Manager, Denton oversees the quality program for CSA B51 and ASME BPE. Denton's recent principal projects include a 100 bbl fully automated brewery; three (3) automated high pressure solvent extraction skid systems; a 25,000 L bio-pharmaceutical fermentation plant; an enzyme reactor plant expansion; and numerous international installations. His technical ability, diverse background and whole project approach enable him to coordinate the DME team and provide valuable management skills. Denton best attributes are his attention to detail, project management skills and overall knowledge of system integration.

Don Campbell

Campbelld@dme.pe.ca: Don joined DME after over 9 years experience in the mechanical and process engineering industries. Don?s experience has led him to extensive process equipment installations and design work on sites in Canada, USA, and South America. At DME, Don brings this experience to his role of three dimensional modeling, design/design development, drafting, and project management. Don?s aptitude for problem solving and open mindedness for solutions makes him a valued member of the team.

bitarg@dme.pe.ca: Since graduating from the Technical University of Nova Scotia with a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering, George has gained valuable experience working for technical manufacturing and process engineering companies in the Aerospace, Automobile and Environmental Industries.

As a Project and Technical Manager for DME, George continues to create and execute project work plans and revisions deemed appropriate to meet the changing needs and requirements of his customers. Through his hands on management style, George ensures that the proper resources are identified and individual responsibilities assigned to optimally manage all operational aspects of a project.

Working with each customer to review deliverables, George enforces project standards with regular engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures so he can not just meet, but exceed his customer’s expectations.

Paul Harding
Technical Design

hardingp@dme.pe.ca: Paul is a Drafting Technician with extensive Autocad and Inventor training. He has 20 years experience, the last 10+ of which have been with DME . He is responsible for creating standard and custom models/drawings of brewery, pharmaceutical, and industrial equipment. Much of what Paul designs are products which meet customer specific requirements.

Working in the position of Purchasing Manager for over 11 years, Ralph has built long standing relationships with all DME suppliers guaranteeing accurate and competitive pricing and quotes for each and every DME project. Ralph works closely with DME Project Engineers to ensure that all materials are of the highest quality and meet the superior standards set for each and every job.

Ross McKellop

mckellopr@dme.pe.ca: As Parts and Used Equipment Manager, Ross will assist customers with all their used equipment and parts sourcing and acquisition requirements. With an extensive background in transportation, procurement and operations management, Ross professionally handles all of DME’s equipment handling requirements. Ross's extensive experience in shipping and logistics will ensure all customers are guaranteed cost-effective and timely shipping and installation on their DME orders.

Michael MacDonald

Through the years he has worked his way up from his starting position of General Maintenance, to Fabricator, then on to Warehouse Operator, and into his current position of Inventory Control Specialist. During these years on the job Michael has worked both full and part time. During his part time segments he used his remaining time to complete the Business Information Technology program at Holland College. From there, while continuing to work, he enrolled in the Business program at the University of Prince Edward Island where he graduated in the spring of 2008 with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
